I expected this book to be geared more for young kids () but found it to be more for teens. I bought it to help our grandchildren learn more about Colorado as they live in Indiana. I will hold it for later but was disappointed/5(5). This book is about two wealthy and vivacious young women who, feeling unchallenged by their upper-class prospects in the early s (marry well, have children, support philanthropy - yawn) rebelled by applying for jobs as school teachers in a primitive Colorado frontier town/5.
